The only Force power that does anything remotely useful is a shockwave that does little to help when most enemies use ranged weapons. You have to pick up power ups to restore your Force energy. You can't move from a standstill while jumping, thus making you have to move before you jump to not just jump straight up, which puts you at risk of falling off the platform if you don't jump before reaching the edge. The knock back from projectile weapons is so severe it can knock you off of a platform to your death. Most platforms are off the screen and the bottom of the level is not marked differently from the rest of the level making it easy to suddenly die by falling off the bottom of the level without you even knowing it was the bottom of the level. Level 9 starts out with you only being able to see one platform.Later in the game the levels start to have platforms that move up or down (and of course you can't tell what axis in 3D space it is moving on) which means it is completely impossible to line up your jump unless you get lucky!.As explained above this causes you to be permanently disadvantaged for the rest of the game as any lives you lose cannot be replaced. This results in cheap deaths as you try to figure out which angle and direction you're supposed to jump to get to the next platform, and if you get it wrong you fall to your death. For example a platform that appears to be towards the upper right of the player is actually to the right of the player and at a higher elevation.
